ChosunFund Limited is a fund designed specifically for investment in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Its design and structure have required careful planning and result from diligent pursuit of an objective to ensure that this private commercial initiative converges with political reality and the legal, fiduciary and regulatory framework.

Critical to its structure and the success of ChosunFund was recruiting a highly-qualified and experienced management team, establishing essential partnerships, and securing the support of a collaborative Board of Directors to assure full transparency.

A key element of this initiative is the relationship established between AngloAsia Capital Management and Koryo Asia Limited (KoryoAsia), the sole and exclusive Advisor to ChosunFund.

The combined management team of the two companies comprises:

Colin McAskill: Executive Chairman; is the founder and Chairman of Koryo Asia Limited and AngloAsia Capital Management Limited, Colin McAskill has specialized in business affairs of the DPRK for more than two and a half decades. He has functioned as the official representative of DPRK government agencies, financial institutions and corporate groups, as well as consulting for major international financial institutions dealing with the DPRK. Colin McAskill has particular knowledge of the external financial dealings of the DPRK, having negotiated on the country's behalf with their foreign bank creditors.

Anthony P. Moody: Joint CEO. Has thirty-seven years experience in the financial services industry, with eighteen in Asia. He was Regional CEO and Managing Director of Asia-Pacific for Zurich Scudder Investments, the investment management business of Zurich Financial Services, a member of the firm's Global Management Committee and Chairman of Zurich Scudder Investments Japan until the firm's acquisition by Deutsche Bank. Currently he is Executive Chairman of Sindicatum Carbon Capital Asia Limited, a company focused on 'clean energy' and climate change. From 1971 to 1999 Mr. Moody held executive responsibilities for investment management, private equity, capital markets, private banking and derivatives with Continental Bank and its acquirer Bank of America, assigned to Japan, Hong Kong, the USA and the Caribbean. Roles included Managing Director & Head of Capital Markets Asia, Head of Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management Asia, and Head of Portfolio Management and Institutional Marketing for investment management in the USA. He is an active investor in private equity in emerging markets and works on a 'pro bono' basis to further the causes of microfinance and corporate social responsibility throughout Asia.

Gerry Elias: Executive Director and a member of KoryoAsia's management team. He has over 15 years experience in international business providing strategic advice to governments, multinational corporations and organisations in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the U.S. Elias is a former Managing Director and Partner of CNC, a global management consultancy firm advising Fortune 500 business and political leaders. Prior to this, Elias was a Director at Burson-Marsteller in New York, Sao Paulo and Seoul, where he focused on international markets and economic resources issues Mr. Elias has lived in Seoul for two years and was special advisor to the Government of South Korea during the Asian financial crisis. He also served as a Vice President at the world's largest OTC exchange for downstream and midstream energy products. He has extensive experience in corporate finance. Elias is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Children's Investment Fund Foundation.

Roy Leighton: Non-executive Director, AngloAsia. Mr. Leighton has had a long career in both the traditional and the modern financial services industry in the UK. He has worked in many aspects of the banking world at home and abroad and was UK Chairman of Credit Lyonnais and its successor Calyon SA. He has chaired the Practitioner Panel at the FSA, the FOA, the European derivatives association, Nymex Europe, the World Bank's International Task Force on Commodities and the Futures and Options Association. Currently he chairs the Financial Services Advisory Board at UKTI and is Chairman of the Financial Services Skills Council. His business interests include board membership of several listed businesses covering Private Equity in China, the Dubai Mercantile Exchange and the derivatives operations of the London Stock Exchange. He taught at the Cass Business School for many years and was made an Honorary Professor of City University in 2001. Mr. Leighton also has extensive experience of dealing with the DPRK. In the early 1980s he was instrumental in obtaining 'good delivery' details for all gold bullion smelted and assayed by the central bank of the DPRK from the London bullion market and managed the shipment to and sale of the DPRK bullion through the London bullion market.

Peter Chesterfield: Gained an MSc in Mining Geology at Leicester University in 1978. He worked as an exploration and project geologist and minerals investment analyst from 1979 to 1984. From 1984 to 1999 he worked with Abbey Life Investment Services for 10 years as a director for Far Eastern Equities. In 1999 he established, and is chairman of, Wessex Asset Management Limited which specialises in Asia-Pacific and global natural resources.
